Amy Franceschini, Arcangelo Wessells, and Bayview Hunters Point Healing Arts Center in conjunction with the CCA's World's Fair Project transitioned an underutilized plot into a food producing space.

Installation:
Two raised beds with benches.

Planted: Pumpkins, squash, lettuce, collard greens, mustard greens, parsley and chives.


 
Before: Unused plot overgrown with remnanants of previous landscaping.   We spotted an olive tree and transplanted it to the front of garden.

Dirt clots can be so beautiful!
 

Ingenious use of abandoned mountain of gravel sitting in the parking lot as an eyesore for months! Now a beautiful walkway to raised beds, benches and a weed detourent.
